Megan Albright
Megan has, from her earliest days, always loved teaching – which might have something to do with being the child of two teachers. Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in English with a special emphasis in 18th Century British Literature along with a minor in Music. She has also completed some post-graduate classes in education and taught English classes at Northland International University. Megan believes that there is no such a thing as a “non-reader;” rather that there are simply people who haven’t yet found the right book. She is married to Joel, one of the assistant pastors here at First Baptist Church, and they have 3 children, Brenden, Annie, and Sadie, all who attend SFCS. Megan’s journey as a follower of Jesus has covered much of her life, and now she is just working to faithfully run her race until the very end, keeping her eyes on Jesus, the author and completer of her faith (Hebrews 12:1&2).
While Megan has served in various ways at First Baptist since 2011, she now has joined the staff at SFCS as of 2019 teaching English for the secondary classes as well as being the Librarian inspiring young readers.
